JET 라는 프로그램에 참여하여 일본 공립 학교에서 보조교사로 영어를 가르쳤습니다. 캘거리 대학교에서 제2외국어 교육에 대해 인증도 받았고, 언어교환을 통해 일본인들에게 영어를 알려주기도 하였습니다. 수업들은 대부분 의사소통 말하기였으며, 제 포커스는 그들의 유창성을 늘려주는 것이었습니다. 표현을 자연스럽게 고쳐주거나 실수한 부분을 잡아주는 방식으로 진행했었습니다.

I am currently teaching English in Japan as an Assistant Language Teacher. I have a Teaching Second Language Certificate from the University of Calgary, and I also have experience teaching English to Japanese students while doing language exchanges with them. The lessons were mainly conversational and my focus was on improving their fluency. I also made sure to correct any mistakes that were made and also to suggest expressions that sound more natural. Before coming to Japan, I lived in Canada for 15 years and have used English in various settings ranging from casual to business.

Whatever your goals are in learning English, it's always great to have someone who is fluent in the language to help you out. If you have any questions such as "What does this mean?", "How do you pronounce this word?", "How do you say this in English/Korean?", please ask away and I'll do my best to answer them. My goal is certain, and it is for you to become more fluent. Don't be afraid to make mistakes, as it's an essential part of learning.
