학생들을 가르치는 일은 정말 즐거운 일이라고 생각해요. 저는 어린 학생부터 십대 학생들까지 다양한 학생들을 가르쳤어요. 대학을 졸업한 후에 바로 학생들을 가르치기 시작했어요. 중국인 학생들을 가르친 게 제 첫 수업이었어요. 유치원생을 대상으로 수업을 시작한 후에 2년동안 상급 레벨의 학생들을 대상으로 영어를 가르쳤어요. 후에는 공립 학교에서 학생들을 가르쳤고 지금은 앵글로 아메리칸 문학을 가르치고 있어요. 저는 학생들이 영어를 능숙하게 말할 수 있도록 도와주면서 학생들을 기다릴 줄 알게 되었어요. 매일 매일 학생들과 함께 배워가면서 뿌듯함을 느끼고 있답니다.

I must say that my teaching experience is varied and fun since I was able to teach kids and teens. I immediately landed a job upon after graduating from college. My first job experience was as a pre-school teacher in a Chinese school. I had fun teaching kinder 2 pupils as they were all eager to learn. Their lessons are quite advanced from normal pre-school setting as their major subjects come in 2 languages: Chinese and English. I stayed in that school for one year and right after, I got hired in a public school. Currently, I am teaching Anglo-American literature to grade 9 students. I must say that the setting is far different when compared to my previous work. Students come from all walks of life and I, as a teacher had to extend my patience and understanding to help them learn. Nevertheless, each day is a new beginning and seeing them grow and learn keeps me happy and fulfilled as a teacher.
