저는 초등학교, 고등학교에서 영어 뿐 아니라 프랑스어, 독일어를 수업한 경력이 있어요. 공립학교에서 근무르 하면서 학생들이 학습 목표를 달성하기 위해서 도와주곤 했어요, 저는 또 다양한 성인 학생들을 가르칠 뿐만 아니라 교육을 진행하기도 했어요. 스위스, 프랑스같이 다양한 유럽 국가에서 거주했던 경험도 있습니다.

I have many years of experience teaching English, French and German as a substitute teacher for elementary school through high school. A large part of my teaching duties in the public school system has been to effectively prepare students for state required achievement tests. I have also taught and trained adults in an international setting in my former government career. I have lived many years in Europe, Switzerland and France, and continue to extensively travel internationally to teach and train leaders; especially to the Far East such as Mongolia and the Philippines. Ethnically, I am half Filipino.

Hi, my name is Dave. I’m an American English speaker who grew up in a dual-culture household. My mom was Scots-Irish and my dad was Filipino. I also learned to speak French and German, and to read koine Greek. I’ve always had a fascination with languages. They are magical! I suppose it’s because I’ve always been interested in other cultures. Let me just say up front: I’m a “people-person”. I frequently travel internationally and I enjoy interacting with people of all ages, from all over the world. I love to see others discover new things, about the world and about themselves. Besides teaching, I enjoy reading and writing, listening to pop and classical music, walking on the beach near us, bicycling, and meeting up with family and friends for a good time. Oh, I forgot to mention. I like meeting new people; especially if I can help them. So, I hope we will meet as well. Enjoy and, most of all, laugh and be happy!
